- Unifies all block protection checks into helper methods in BlockUtils which trigger all the necessary forge events and vanilla methods
- Implements these checks in all the appropriate places and removes calls to EntityUtils#canDamageBlocks(...) where they are no longer needed
- Changes the mine spell to respect the config settings in line with the rest of the spells
- Fixes earthquake not respecting the settings at all
- Adds a separate config option for dispenser block damage and updates the description for the existing settings to reflect the changes
- Adds two variants of library ruins: surface (generates in forested biomes) and underground (generates everywhere)
- Adds loot table support to bookshelves
- Adds antique atlas markers for library ruins
- Adds bookshelves and lecterns to the wood type template processor
- Makes bookshelves and lecterns rotate correctly in structure templates
- Generalises most of the methods in WorldGenSurfaceStructure to a new superclass WorldGenWizardryStructure
- Adds imbuement altar block and associated tile entity
- Adds basic functionality for imbuing wizard armour (other stuff to be decided)
- Incorporates imbuement altar into glowing overlay model event (this could do with being tidied up and generalised)
- Adds a TESR for the ray effect (based on some of the oldest code in the entire mod, which definitely needs improving!)
- Adds a simple sound effect for the imbuement process, needs upgrading to a ticked sound later
- Modifies the bookshelf model and blockstate to choose a texture dynamically based on the book item
- Changes bookshelf slots to accept all books from wizardry and vanilla minecraft by default
- Adds a couple of hooks to allow addons to register their own book items and model textures
- Adds a config option to allow modpack makers to add more book items
Implements the main functionality:
- Access bookshelves from within the workbench
- Search by spell name, tier, element and type
- Sort by tier, element or alphabetically, ascending or descending
- Three-way shift-clicking support
- Automatic return of books to bookshelves when wand is removed
I may have got a bit behind with version control. A lot behind, in fact. Maybe I'll go back and split this sometime - then again, I probably won't. But hey, at least it's here!
- Splits all particle textures into individual files intead of sprite sheets
- Replaces arc and lightning pulse entities with particles
- Pulls particle code up to the general ParticleWizardry so behaviours such as spin can be applied to all particle types
- Renames a few ParticleBuilder methods for conciseness.
- Adds a few new particle effects to various spells and entities, with a slight tweak to EntityMagicArrow#onBlockHit to facilitate impact effects
- Adds new generic spell superclasses which aim to group spells such that duplicate code is eliminated, and functions standardised, as much as possible.
- Removes numerous spell classes which are no longer required as a result of this change, and replaces them with instances of the relevant generic spell classes.
- Changes the remaining spell classes to fit with the new system, mostly by having them extend the generic spell classes.
- Completes the transfer of particle spawning to the ParticleBuilder system.
Adds ParticleBuilder to replace the particle spawning methods in the proxies, and changes all particle spawning to use the builder except for in the spell classes, which are to be reorganised first.
