This fixed player rubberbanding when touching the wall of a containment field for me.
I took the liberty of uncommenting some code which produces a sound when the player tries to leave the field, and also deleted line 113 along with everything related to it since it seemed unnecessary.
I've tested this on singleplayer and on my 200ms multiplayer server and appears to be working perfectly in both.
(It works even if allow-flight is set to false on server.properties; I also tried using an elytra, levitation effect and extra speed, which all worked well too).
All tests were done using Forge-2860
- Add a getCentre method for entities to GeometryUtils
- Replace getPositionEyes(0) with getPositionEyes(1) since it's more efficient, and by definition they must be the same
- Remove all the silly getEntityBoundingBox().minY stuff, this bug has been fixed since 1.8! (which begs the question: if it was considered a bug, how on earth did it go unfixed for that long?)
- A few other small things
I may have got a bit behind with version control. A lot behind, in fact. Maybe I'll go back and split this sometime - then again, I probably won't. But hey, at least it's here!
- Splits all particle textures into individual files intead of sprite sheets
- Replaces arc and lightning pulse entities with particles
- Pulls particle code up to the general ParticleWizardry so behaviours such as spin can be applied to all particle types
- Renames a few ParticleBuilder methods for conciseness.
- Adds a few new particle effects to various spells and entities, with a slight tweak to EntityMagicArrow#onBlockHit to facilitate impact effects
- Adds new generic spell superclasses which aim to group spells such that duplicate code is eliminated, and functions standardised, as much as possible.
- Removes numerous spell classes which are no longer required as a result of this change, and replaces them with instances of the relevant generic spell classes.
- Changes the remaining spell classes to fit with the new system, mostly by having them extend the generic spell classes.
- Completes the transfer of particle spawning to the ParticleBuilder system.
Adds ParticleBuilder to replace the particle spawning methods in the proxies, and changes all particle spawning to use the builder except for in the spell classes, which are to be reorganised first.
