Acting by himself, one of the faithful of the Arbiter has followed the guide of some bees, and was able to reach Lyndenwyrm, gathering knowledge about the power of Entropy after studying the Chaos Dragons in the Sky of Terra.
This agent was one of the Arbiter's inner circle back on Terra, a powerful magician and alchemist, and the creator of the Withers. These six creatures, created from the undead of the Meatball Man, were put in place as the ultimate defense of Terra, and would awaken if the full corporeal form of the Lord of Gluttony were to ever set foot in the land of the Testificates.
As they told me of their mission and research, one interesting detail about powerful recursion came up.
Fractallite powers have strict rules; no more and no less than one individual can hold a given fractallite power; if a fractallite being dies, their power and their mission become available for the taking.
One can ascend before gaining powers, as the process of ascension simply consists of reaching a level of attunement to recursion that allows one to sense the fields for these immense powers.
Because of this, there are powerful fractallite beings that hold no powers, and who are simply fighting or waiting to take control over a specific one.",

After what I was told, I believe I am conscientious enough to not use this power; I just want to know more about this universe I am part of. I want to make sense of it.
I do appreciate that I was told about a way to remove flux, though. Not only it is useful, but the knowledge of this provides good insight about the way the thumic fields operate.
They are not an inherent property of space, meaning that not every place in the universe will have aura or flux. In that sense, they operate similarly to how the electromagnetic field operates; to have it you need a source, like a magnet, or something very very hot.
Most of the universe, though, experiences the fields of aura and flux, and this is because of the ability of these fields to push matter itself into a more stable equilibrium. For reasons that still do not make 100% sense, matter influenced by these fields becomes more 'organized' in some way, and itself it becomes a source of the fields. The process is very slow, and even slower at low field strengths, from what I am seeing, but it makes it so that, starting from a single source of aura for example, the whole universe will eventually turn into a source of aura.
This process can be boosted by some properties of nature, and the trees in some forest on Terra seem to be able to do that, but it can also be stopped and even reverted.
This sponge I recently been told of is a recursive object, expressing a magic I would call mythic, that can halt the spreading of flux.",

"desc:8": "The way recursive materials and objects interact with pretty much everything and every other magic field is truly remarkable!
I think I know what makes magic 'mythic', what makes it evolve into something capable of acting against the laws of nature. It is an extended and expanded version of 'normal' magic that uses said laws of nature. Expanded by what? Well, recursion, or whatever the force that keeps me alive and immortal is.
Just combining the recursive matter that is ender dolomite with metals from the world of Barathos has changed their magic properties into something new and powerful, way more powerful.
I still have no idea how this force (is it a force?) works, but I cannot deny how impactful it is. If I want to get ahead in this universe of mythological deities and planet-destroying powers, control recursion is what will make me more powerful without necessarily gaining knowledge in other fields.
I still strongly suspect that, to understand recursion, I will have to understand everything else first.",

I defeated, truly defeated, Fractallite beings.
How? Well, I can only guess, but I believe it must have something to do with an incomplete coupling with their Fractallite powers, almost as if it took some time for it to 'settle down', and I was able to stop the merging before it was complete.
What supports this theory is what Dracyon and Hydrolisk left behind. I am fumbling for words, but whatever this thing is, it is as close to pure recursion as my senses have encountered, and yet it hints at something more, just like a complex shape that is only seen from one angle, and is thus distorted.
",

The pact was not just between them, it involved the arthropods of the Erebus too; well, Erebus is their home world, but after forming an alliance with the Meatball Man, they were granted magic capable of opening wormholes.
This was their plan with me; J'zahar and and the Primordial Malevolence would bind me to recursion, the bugs, together with the undead of the Meatball Man would capture me, and I would have been their captive. Their plans, though, did not include my retaliation.
This still does not answer questions about any of their motivations; well, the arthropods got powerful magic, and were able to take over worlds under the banner of the Meatball Man, and the Elder Ones were likely being promised some control over the Testificates; but why would the Meatball Man want to do this? He is more than capable of defeating me, but instead he is just toying with me, making me angry enough to want to fight, and ignorant enough to want to seek answers. And why me? Isn't his enemy the Arbiter?
Well, hopefully Pixonia will provide some more answers. After forming their alliance with the Meatball Man, the bugs of the Erebus used their wormholes to take over the world of Pixonia, and which became a hub for their elite fighters, a center from which invasions, schemes, and conquests would be handled. While I do not have the power to defeat the Meatball Man himself, I am definitely more than capable of handling his forces.",

Its dynamics remind me of a pendulum that never stops. What causes recursion effects to happen is other recursion effects. It is like light travelling in the void of space, it keeps going. Even light, though, loses its energy once it encounters things that aren't the void. Recursion, though, just happens.
I keep coming back, and so do my enemies, although not as fast as me, thankfully. ",
